  • Collaborate with assembly and commissioning teams, providing technical guidance and resolving real on‑site challenges.
  • Ensure full adherence to local legislation, standards and technical specifications throughout the design process.
  • Apply knowledge of local project development regulations, including construction permits, expertise/approval procedures and final permissions required for energizing (hot commissioning) HV systems.

Requirements:

  • Electrical engineering degree.
  • HV/MV substation design experience covering the full cycle from concept to detailed design, including support during construction and commissioning.
  • Technical knowledge of substations, including physical layout and equipment arrangement in coordination with stakeholders and third parties.
  • Electrical calculation expertise - equipment sizing, grounding/earthing grids, auxiliary services and short‑circuit studies.
  • Understanding of HV project regulations - permits, expertise/approval procedures and final permissions for energizing HV systems.
  • English language skills at minimum B2 level, Estonian language skills are a strong advantage.
  • Organized, analytical and solution‑oriented personality, committed to delivering efficient and high‑quality technical outcomes.

What We Offer:

  • Monthly gross salary €3,500–€4,500, with clear potential for growth as responsibilities expand and project phases progress.
  • A secure role within a major European railway electrification programme, with an expected duration of up to 15 years.
  • Direct involvement in one of Europe’s largest and most technologically advanced railway projects, shaping national infrastructure for decades ahead.
  • Work with unique traction power supply systems, modern HV/MV substation technologies and innovative engineering tools not commonly available in the region.
  • Join a diverse team of specialists from across Europe, gaining exposure to best practices, expert knowledge and cross-border engineering standards.
  • Opportunities to deepen technical expertise, take on broader responsibilities and grow within a multidisciplinary engineering environment.
  • A friendly, professional and solution‑oriented team that values knowledge sharing, innovation and high-quality engineering outcomes.
